F.E.E.D. stands for Farming, Education, and Equity Development and we were founded in 2018 to help develop sustainable urban farming, propagate food insecurity education, and advocate for food access equity.
Understanding the system is the first step in improving it. We perform research in Prince George's County, MD to assess the needs of food providers, food insecure clients, and sustainable urban growers.
Volunteering is a commitment to bettering yourself and your community. We meet the specific needs of food organizations throughout College Park by providing them with skilled, dedicated volunteers.
Our community is full of people who want to help. We connect students, clubs at the University of Maryland, food service organizations throughout College Park, and urban growers in the community to streamline collaboration.
